Consignments include two significant portraits of Maori chiefs by Charles Frederick Goldie, rare works by expatriate New Zealander Raymond McIntyre, a pair of Felix Kelly oils which were once the property of esteemed American art collector Jack Warner.
The sale has a more than usual International section with an extraordinary example by British Modern Cedric Morris, along with rare prints by Dorrit Black, M C Escher and an extraordinary 1972 lithographed triptych by Francis Bacon
