This large vertical painting is a fantastic example of Henryk's unique fantasy surrealism. As windows within the work afford views both in and out of the picture plane, a colourful story unfolds. To the left of the painting, floating upon a field of textured sky blue, we see the artist's symbol of the native New Zealand ponga tree. A centrally-positioned base of yellow-gold is the foundational colour block for this lively work.
