This represents a significant exploration within my early practice. In this piece I experiment with the ruin and the imagined fragments from the demolition.
I was beginning to find my visual physical language.
This ongoing exploration eventually resulted in the three TIP sculptures in Western Park on Ponsonby Road a decade after this work was made...
