Over Labour Weekend in 2013 a fleet of sailing vessels visited Auckland. On the Monday, which was Labour Day, they sailed out of the Waitemata.

It was a fine day with a good favourable breeze. The ships are in the Rangitoto Channel with North Head on the right. The foreground vessels from left to right are the Jane Gifford out of Warkworth, north of Auckland, the Cook Island barque Picton Castle and the Dutch Europa.
