There is something of the modern day fairy tale in this latest work by New Plymouth based artist Jasmine Middlebrook. Ringed by tall trees, we come across a little girl deep in contemplation of a golden, autumn leaf. Perfectly at ease in her surroundings and seated comfortably beneath nature's protective canopy, we the viewer sense and enjoy the stillness of the scene.
