Winter Light Glentanner, Mount Cook
Glentanner Station is a magnificent 10,000 acre High Country sheep station set in spectacular MacKenzie country. Extending from Whale Stream in the south, to the Mount Cook National Park boundary in the north. It is home to over 5,000 sheep along with Hereford cattle and Red deer. Well organised tours commencing with helicopter flights to a high point on the station afford an unforgettable experience with views of Lake Pukaki, the Tasman River Valley and Mount Cook.
Born in the South, Simon Williams knows and loves his subject. Amongst grasslands of soft gold, a farmer and his ever-alert team of working dogs, stands before a back drop of snow-capped peaks. New Zealand at its best, captured on canvas by an artist of extraordinary talent.
